For the paste

cup
peeled walnuts
1
lemon, juiced
only use juice
1-3
tbsp
cold water
pinch
of
salt
optional
Instructions
Making the paste
Start with good looking and more importantly good smelling walnuts. Discard rancid batches or moldy batches
Juice a lemon
Add the nuts to the blender
Add the juice
blend and check now and then the smoothness.
Add a little cold water if necessary to create a smoother paste
Store in a closed container in the fridge
